I grew up in Vancouver, BC playing pretend and dreaming of being the starting goaltender for the Vancouver Canucks. When it was apparent the ladder might not be a viable career choice, I dove head first into the world of make believe. After graduating from a performing arts high school I hit the ground running into the exciting world of film and television.
For the past 20 years I have worked on everything from tiny low budget short films to big studio blockbusters and everything in between including the indie hit It's A Disaster with Julia Stiles and David Cross, Arrow, Almost Human and the award winning digital series Hitman 101. My career as an actor lead me down many different paths and brought me to many places. Having trained not only in Vancouver, but at the East 15 Acting School in London, England and the Stella Adler Acting Conservatory in Los Angeles I am able to bring my diverse training not only to my roles but also to my teaching. I am currently the Director of Performing Arts at Vancouver Acting School and also teach Advanced Classes for Kids at Vancouver Young Actors School
A few years ago I moved behind the camera first as a writer and producer and most recently a director. From the moment I stepped behind that camera, put on my headset and yelled "Action" I knew that was where I was meant to be. I've currently directed 4 short films: The Road to Pyeongchang, The Goodnight Kiss, Abandoned and most recently The Ride Home, which is doing a festival circuit. I've got a series and a feature in development and am excited to see what the future holds with my career!
When I'm not working 26 hours a day on my career you can find me in a local coffee shop, at the movies, cheering on my Canucks or posing on a red carpet with my husband - we love a good red card and would attend the opening of an envelope.
